Vladimir Rivera
I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma before the end of 2019. I felt like my world shattered knowing my condition can end my life if I didn’t focus on my health and treatment. 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiation treatment made me weak but I was ready to start my road to recovery. Coach Dave supported me throughout – providing a customized workout plan and the motivation I need to keep pushing. I am now cancer-free, and my ultimate goal in pursuing a fitter lifestyle is to prevent my cancer from recurring and start living my best life.

Rommel Depasucat
I was diagnosed with Bipolar II years ago and in order to live a regular life without the baggage of my mental health issue, I tend to over work myself. I gave in to unhealthy cravings and had irregular sleeping patterns which was wrecking havoc on my body. I did not feel good about myself, I reached the weight of 127kg, I was always tired, restless and annoyed – this was my breaking point and I decided to change my lifestyle and join a gym. My goal was to just keep myself active and be able to do activities without panting or grasping for air. I met Coach Dave and he made me comfortable with how I want to see my future self. He motivated me to constantly workout and slowly worked to reach my desired weight and change my eating habits. Every session is challenging and I’m learning a lot about proper routines. I’ve lost more than 20kg, I haven’t experience any manic attacks since I started working out, and I can shop for the clothes I like because it fits me well.

Cynthia Rosell
I was overweight when I was younger and obese half of my adult life, caused by poor food choices, sedentary lifestyle, genes and end-to-end work schedule. I was always sick, cannot keep up with the demands of my profession, and at that point, I knew I had to change my lifestyle in order to enjoy my work and my life. I started working out, followed a balanced diet and changed my work schedule as a first step. I also engaged in personal training sessions with Coach Aileen so I can gain more strength, flexibility and endurance. Seeing my progress is very motivating – I can now do 80kg leg presses, lift a 40kg barbell and even push a sled with 20kg weights. These are all life-changing for me as my trainings not only became a commitment to myself but also a passion to pursue.
